P-Bruins Shootout Loss

Friday, October 12, 2013 in the Regular season Opener for the Providence Bruins (p-bruins), loss to Manchester Monarchs in a shoot out. Following a non scoring first, the p-bruins take a 2-0 lead in the second. The Monarchs tied up the game with 2 goals, near the end of the third. During overtime the p-bruins had many chances, including a 2 minute man advantage during the end of overtime, but nothing good happened. Going into the shootout, the main thing is to not allow the puck to find the back of the net. Unfortunately for the p-bruins they could only get one shootout goal, were not able to stop the determined Monarchs from hitting the back of the net.
